The network is the world's first large-scale quantum network, and is undertaken by QuantumCTek for development and construction. The network is built based on commercial optical fiber of radio and television operators, covering the main urban area of Hefei city. The networks customers range from government departments, financial institutions, and military industrial enterprises to research institutes etc. It provides real-time voice communication, real-time text communication, file transfer and other functions with quantum security. The network topology is consistent with the operators’ one, which is divided into the three-tier structure-core, convergence and access layers. It enjoys good scalable capability, and has routing and attack alarm functions etc. At the same time, the network monitoring and management system ensures administrators to monitor network status, to observe operation of the equipments in the distance, and to make timely diagnosis and processing.
